India delays ODI squad announcement for New Zealand tour

India's ODI squad for the five-match series against New Zealand has been delayed until next week, the BCCI confirmed on Tuesday. Selectors want to monitor performances in the ongoing India A series against Australia A before finalising the squad. The delay also allows a split-squad approach, with senior Test players rested for the later ODIs to prepare for the two-Test series.
