India face New Zealand in second T20I at Hagley Oval

India face New Zealand in the second T20I of their five-match series at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Saturday. The match starts at 12:30 PM IST and will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network with streaming on SonyLIV.

Shreyas Iyer's side leads the series 1-0 after chasing 226 to win the opener by four wickets on Thursday. Ishan Kishan has been ruled out with a low-grade right adductor strain sustained in the first game, while Kumar Kushagra joins the squad as cover. India may turn to 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi if Kishan does not recover in time.

New Zealand named Daryl Mitchell at No. 3 and Bevon Jacobs in the middle order for the opener. Both teams will look to sharpen their powerplay bowling after India posted 93 runs in the first six overs of the series opener.
