Wahab Riaz says Pakistan remain the best side in Asia Cup despite record loss
Wahab Riaz defended Pakistan after their record loss to India in the Women's Asia Cup, insisting the team remains the best side in the tournament. The former Pakistan captain spoke after India bowled his side out for 55 and won by seven wickets.
Pakistan reached 27 for 0 before losing six wickets for nine runs. Shree Charani took 3 for 7 and Prema Rawat claimed 3 for 9 as India completed the chase in 8.4 overs.
Pakistan now sit second in Group A with a win and a loss from two matches. Their semi-final hopes depend on the final group fixture against Hong Kong.
