India needs seven wins from remaining Tests to reach WTC 2027 final

India has seven Tests remaining in the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle and must win most of them to stay in contention for the 2027 final.

The drawn second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo reduced India's points percentage and left the side in fifth place in the standings. The remaining fixtures include a two-match series in New Zealand starting November 19.

Qualification scenarios depend on results from other teams as well as India's own performances across the seven matches.
