India players join 1980s AI photo trend ahead of Afghanistan series

India's squad shared retro-style AI-generated images of themselves ahead of the T20I series against Afghanistan. The players posted 1980s-themed portraits on social media, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Axar Patel among those reacting to the trend.

The light-hearted posts come as the team prepares for three matches in Delhi. The images show squad members in vintage clothing and studio settings typical of the era.

No competitive significance has been attached to the posts. The series begins later this week at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
