India's bowling lacks wicket-taker in Guwahati run-fest

India's attack concedes 405 as West Indies post highest ODI total in Guwahati second ODI.

India's bowlers conceded 405 runs for seven wickets in the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati, with Prasidh Krishna, debutant Auqib Nabi and Gurnoor Brar unable to contain the batting on a flat pitch.

John Campbell scored a 65-ball century and Shai Hope made an unbeaten hundred as West Indies posted their highest ODI total. Kuldeep Yadav was the only bowler to exert consistent control.

The absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Axar Patel left the attack without proven wicket-taking options on a surface that offered little assistance. West Indies reached 200 in 21.1 overs and accelerated through the middle and death overs.
