Squad announcement stage: CSA postpones SA Women's T20 World Cup team

Cricket South Africa postponed announcing South Africa's Women's T20 World Cup squad. Internal reviews are still underway, but the team must be lodged with the ICC before early June.

The tournament runs June 12–July 5 in England and Wales. South Africa sits in Group A alongside Australia, Bangladesh, India, Netherlands and Pakistan. Group B has England, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, Sri Lanka and West Indies. Six nations have already named their squads; CSA joins several others still waiting.

Shabnim Ismail's retirement U-turn means she's back in contention for the pace attack. Marizanne Kapp has recovered from recent illness and is available. Those two alone reshape what CSA's selectors can build around.
