Iowa State cornerback Jaheim Singletary carted off after collision
Iowa State cornerback Jaheim Singletary was strapped to a backboard and taken off the field after colliding with a teammate during Bowling Green's first-quarter touchdown on Saturday.
Singletary and linebacker Willie Breland III ran into each other while chasing a 59-yard scoring pass. Trainers worked on Singletary before he was removed on a cart. Players from both teams knelt as the medical staff attended to him.
Singletary, a redshirt senior from Jacksonville, Florida, had two tackles in Iowa State's first two games this season. The Cyclones led 21-7 at the end of the first quarter.
