Ireland all-rounder Arlene Kelly announces retirement from international cricket

Ireland all-rounder Arlene Kelly will finish her international career after the third ODI against England. The announcement ends a four-and-a-half-year international career that included 110 appearances and 135 wickets. She ranks third on Ireland's all-time list for ODI wickets.

Kelly made her debut in 2021 and became a regular across formats. Her 135 wickets place her behind only Isobel Joyce and Ciara Metcalfe on the all-time list. The retirement comes after Ireland's ongoing series against England.

Ireland have not named a replacement for the remainder of the series. The team will look to fill the all-rounder's role in the immediate future.
