'Is Maldives holiday included in package?' — KL Rahul on Pietersen's England appointment

Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul reacted to the ECB's appointment of Kevin Pietersen as white-ball mentor with a question about holiday packages. The ECB announced the role on Monday.

Pietersen will join Brendon McCullum's white-ball coaching setup for the T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka. The appointment marks his first involvement with the senior England side since his 2014 sacking.

Rahul's comment came amid ongoing speculation about his own future with Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2027 auction cycle.
