Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma face quick switch from Duleep final to Afghanistan T20Is

Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma said the quick turnaround from the Duleep Trophy final to India's T20I series against Afghanistan will be slightly challenging. Both players acknowledged the need to adapt to different formats within days.

The Duleep Trophy final between East Zone and South Zone begins on September 6 in Chennai. KL Rahul will miss the match for South Zone, while Devdutt Padikkal and Mohammed Siraj have been confirmed in the side.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will make his first five-day appearance in the final for East Zone. Both captains said adapting to the schedule is part of the job and offered no excuses.
