Jay Shah welcomes Tavengwa Mukuhlani as ICC Deputy Chair

The International Cricket Council appointed Tavengwa Mukuhlani as Deputy Chairperson until November 2027. Mukuhlani, Chairman of Zimbabwe Cricket, succeeds Imran Khwaja.

Mukuhlani serves on the ICC Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee and the Nominations Committee, and chairs the HR and Remuneration Committee. The appointment comes ahead of Zimbabwe co-hosting the 2027 Men's Cricket World Cup.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah said Mukuhlani's experience and commitment to development will help strengthen cricket across member nations. Mukuhlani becomes the first Zimbabwean to hold the position.
