Jintimani Kalita replaces injured Renuka Singh Thakur

The Assam pacer steps in for Renuka, who is managing her return to 50-over bowling after injury.

Jintimani Kalita has been added to India's ODI squad for the three-match series against Zimbabwe after Renuka Singh Thakur was ruled out with a workload concern. The series begins in Vadodara on Friday.

Renuka is continuing to build bowling volume for the 50-over format at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. Jintimani, who played in the recent T20I series against Zimbabwe in Raipur, will compete for a spot with Nandni Sharma, Kranti Gaud and Sayali Satghare.

Smriti Mandhana captains the 15-member squad that also includes Harmanpreet Kaur, Deepti Sharma and Richa Ghosh. Jintimani made her ODI debut in the first match of the series.
