Kagiso Rabada says South Africa feel no pressure to win 2027 World Cup at home
Kagiso Rabada says South Africa aren't carrying any extra weight because the 2027 ODI World Cup lands at home. They've been reaching finals and semis across formats lately, so the squad sees this as the same job they've already done — just finishing it.
They lifted the World Test Championship last year and came second in the T20 World Cup. Rabada reckons the team has already proved it can get to the big stage; now it just has to cross the line.
The Proteas share the 50-over tournament with Zimbabwe and Namibia. Rabada frames it as defending their own patch, not living up to some outside expectation.
