Kagiso Rabada ruled out of Australia Tests with Grade-3 hamstring tear

Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of South Africa's three-Test series against Australia after suffering a Grade-3 tear to his right hamstring. The 31-year-old fast bowler will be sidelined for up to 10 weeks following the injury sustained during winter training. Cricket South Africa said his availability depends on his rehabilitation progress.

Rabada has already been ruled out of the ODI series against Australia. Gerald Coetzee and Corbin Bosch are expected to take on additional bowling duties in his absence. South Africa face a busy home summer that includes three Tests against Australia, two against Bangladesh and three against England.

The injury represents a significant blow to the Proteas' pace attack ahead of their home season. South Africa are the reigning World Test champions.
