David Bedingham says Kagiso Rabada is massive for South Africa ahead of second Test
David Bedingham said Kagiso Rabada's return will strengthen South Africa's attack for the second Test against Australia in Gqeberha. Rabada missed the Durban opener with a hamstring injury and the Proteas lost by 214 runs.
The fast bowler trained at full intensity on Friday and is expected to play. Bedingham said Rabada looked quick again and cited his nine wickets in the World Test Championship final at Lord's last year. Rabada has taken 58 wickets in 11 Tests against Australia at an average of 21.39.
Australia assistant coach Matthew Wade warned that Rabada would bring competitiveness and versatility to the Proteas attack. Aiden Markram missed Friday's training session, raising doubts over his availability for the match that starts on Sunday.
