Dinesh Karthik calls India's chase a heist after four-wicket win

Karthik calls India's late surge a heist as they take a 2-0 series lead.

Dinesh Karthik described India's chase in the second T20I against New Zealand as a heist after the visitors scored 68 runs in the final 4.5 overs to win by four wickets. India reached their 300th men's T20I during the match at Hagley Oval on October 24 and now lead the five-match series 2-0.

Tilak Varma remained unbeaten on 51 and Nitish Kumar Reddy made 26 not out in a 69-run partnership that took India to 181 for six. Karthik told CricTracker that India pulled off the victory in front of New Zealand's eyes through composure under pressure.

India made two changes for the match, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi replacing the injured Ishan Kishan and Prince Yadav coming in for Mayank Yadav. Kumar Kushagra was added to the squad as cover for Kishan but did not play.
