Karun Nair hits century after Duleep Trophy final omission

Karun Nair scored 104 for KSCA Secretary's XI in the Dr K Thimmappaiah Memorial Tournament after being left out of South Zone's Duleep Trophy final squad. Nair left the South Zone camp midway through the match citing personal reasons.

The century came in his first innings since the omission. South Zone coach Vikram Verma had stated that Nair departed for personal reasons, though Nair's social-media response suggested otherwise.

Nair has not featured in South Zone's last two Duleep Trophy matches.
