Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming to lead unchanged Japan squad for India T20I

Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming will captain a 15-member Japan squad for the one-off T20I against India on September 22. The squad is identical to the one selected for the 2026 Asian Games, making the India match a key preparation fixture.

Japan named the side on Monday, with the clash marking the team's first T20I against India. The same 15 players will represent Japan at the Asian Games later this year.

The fixture gives Japan a high-profile warm-up before the multi-team tournament in Japan. Kadowaki-Fleming has appeared in 55 T20Is and scored 1871 runs at a strike rate of 139.41.
