Kent signs Khaled Ahmed for County Championship
Kent Cricket confirmed the signing of Khaled Ahmed for September's County Championship fixtures.
Kent Cricket on Tuesday confirmed the signing of Bangladesh pacer Khaled Ahmed for the September fixtures in the Rothesay County Championship. The club said the deal remains subject to regulatory approval before the bowler can represent the county.
Ahmed joins fellow Bangladesh fast bowler Hasan Mahmud at Kent. The arrangement gives the 29-year-old his first overseas county stint during the English domestic season.
Kent will use the remaining weeks of the campaign to integrate the two Bangladesh pacers into the squad for the closing rounds of the Championship.
