Kieron Pollard completes first half-century of season off 21 balls

Kieron Pollard scored his first half-century of the CPL 2026 season off 21 balls during Trinbago Knight Riders' match against St Lucia Kings. Pollard finished with 65 runs from 26 balls in the chase of 211.

Pollard needed 35 runs in the match to go past Jos Buttler on the all-time T20 run-scoring list. His 26-ball 65 represented his fastest half-century of the season and showed a return to form for the veteran all-rounder.

The innings came in Trinbago's attempt to chase down St Lucia Kings' total of 211 for four. Pollard's knock kept Trinbago in contention before they eventually fell short of the target.
