KL Rahul fit for day two after cramping in Galle
KL Rahul is expected to continue his innings after cramping on day one at Galle, with India 288 for two overnight.
India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak has confirmed that KL Rahul will resume his innings on day two of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle. Rahul retired hurt on 77 on day one after cramping in his right forearm during the 51st over.
He and Devdutt Padikkal had added 150 runs for the second wicket before the issue arose. Padikkal went on to score an unbeaten 131 as India reached 288 for two.
Kotak said the physio had monitored Rahul overnight and expected no further problems.
