Krish Bhagat dedicates spell to late grandfather after Lions reach semifinal

Krish Bhagat paid an emotional tribute to his late grandfather after taking two wickets to help Ludhiana Lions reach the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League semifinals. Bhagat dedicated his spell to his grandfather who passed away the previous night.

Ludhiana defeated Amritsar Soormas by five wickets to seal their place in the last four. Chasing 177, the Lions needed 62 runs to qualify on net run rate but completed the chase in the 19th over.

Bhagat's performance came during a difficult personal time. The left-arm spinner's contribution proved decisive in the victory at the IS Bindra Stadium.
