Kuldeep Yadav left out of India's fourth West Indies T20I XI
Kuldeep Yadav was left out again as India named an unchanged XI for the fourth T20I, with Krishnamachari Srikkanth criticising the decision to drop the spinner.
Kuldeep Yadav will miss his second consecutive T20I after India named an unchanged XI for the fourth match against West Indies in Hyderabad. Captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first on a relaid surface. India lead the series 2-1 and can seal the five-match contest with a win on Wednesday.
Former India captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth criticised the team management for dropping Kuldeep after he conceded 53 runs in four overs during the second T20I in Ranchi. Srikkanth said the decision had affected the left-arm spinner's confidence. India replaced Kuldeep with seamer Prince Yadav for the third match and retained the same combination.
West Indies made two changes, with Jewel Andrew and Romario Shepherd replacing Kamil Pooran and Quentin Sampson. Shai Hope said his side needs to be more clinical to stay in the series. The surface at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is expected to offer consistent bounce throughout the match.
