Limansa Thilakarathne struck the winning runs as Sri Lanka secured their first win of the tri-series.
Sri Lanka chased 120 to beat Bangladesh by four wickets in the Women's U19 Tri-Nation T20 Series at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on Monday. Bangladesh made 119 for seven after being put in, Sadia Islam scoring 39 off 22. Sanjana Kavindi De Silva made 48 off 46 for Sri Lanka. Limansa Thilakarathne, the 15-year-old daughter of former Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan, came in at number eight needing two runs off the last ball and drove Farjana Easmin to long-off for the match-winning two. Chamodi Herath and Aseni Thalagune took two wickets each for the winners. Nishita Akter Nishi claimed two for Bangladesh.
