Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry ruled out of remaining T20Is

Ferguson and Henry will miss the final two T20Is against India after suffering calf and quad injuries respectively.

Lockie Ferguson sustained a low-grade right calf tear and Matt Henry suffered a right quadricep injury during New Zealand's second T20I against India. Both players have been ruled out of the remaining two matches of the five-match series. India leads the series 3-0.

Henry had already been scheduled to miss the final two T20Is for workload management before the injury occurred. He is expected to require one to two weeks of recovery time. Ferguson expressed his disappointment at missing the fourth T20I at Eden Park but remains determined to return for the upcoming ODI series.

New Zealand named Matt Fisher as a replacement in the squad for the final two T20Is. The fourth match is scheduled for Friday at Eden Park in Auckland.
