Matthew Potts signs three-year contract extension with Durham
Durham secure Matthew Potts on three-year deal as seamer eyes England return.
Durham have agreed a three-year contract extension with England fast bowler Matthew Potts. The 27-year-old seamer has taken 147 first-class wickets at 23.41 since debuting in 2021.
Potts made his England Test debut in 2022 and has played seven matches, taking 21 wickets at 30.52. He remains a regular in the England Lions setup.
The new deal keeps Potts at Durham until the end of the 2029 season. He will be available for the 2026-27 domestic campaign after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained last summer.
