Melbourne Stars sign Overton twins for BBL 16

Melbourne Stars have signed England brothers Craig and Jamie Overton for the upcoming BBL season. The twins will become the first pair of brothers to play together in the competition after agreeing one-year deals. Craig arrives from Somerset while Jamie moves across from the same county where they had been rivals in recent seasons.

The signings mark the first time twins have featured in the same BBL squad. Both players bring first-class experience and recent red-ball form into the T20 setup. Stars officials said the move adds depth to their pace attack for the 16th edition.

The brothers last played together regularly before Jamie left Somerset. Their reunion gives the franchise two proven English seam options in a single window.
