Misbah questions PCB handling after Test shake-up

Former captain Misbah-ul-Haq criticised the PCB's recent squad overhaul, describing it as cosmetic surgery that will not fix deeper structural problems. Misbah resigned shortly after the board issued show-cause notices to every member of the selection committee.

The PCB axed seven players and two coaches midway through the England series. The board also seized players' mobile phones ahead of the Test, citing ICC integrity regulations.

Misbah urged the PCB to study India's long-term investment model rather than pursue quick fixes after consecutive defeats.
