Mitchell Starc replaces Jasprit Bumrah as No.1 ranked Test bowler

Mitchell Starc has replaced Jasprit Bumrah as the No.1 ranked Test bowler for the first time in his career after taking 10 wickets in Australia's second Test win over Bangladesh in Mackay. Bumrah drops to second, with Matt Henry third and Pat Cummins fourth.

Starc's 6 for 12 and 4 for 39 in the second Test helped him claim the Player of the Series honour. The Australian pacer also tops the list of bowlers with the most wickets in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle.

Bumrah's latest reign at the top lasted just two months. He has accumulated 697 days as number one across multiple stints at the summit.
