Mohammad Kaif criticises India management over inconsistent selection

Former IPL winner Mohammad Kaif criticised the India team management for inconsistent selection during the West Indies home ODI series. He highlighted how new players were being brought in but not given consistent chances, which would hurt their confidence.

Kaif pointed to Auqib Nabi making his debut in the second ODI and being dropped for the next game. He said the management was spoiling young players by not backing them after giving them opportunities.

Kaif also noted that captain Shubman Gill appeared under pressure and clueless in the absence of senior pacers. He said a young captain with a young bowling attack was a matter of concern ahead of the 2027 World Cup.
