Mohammad Rizwan not cooperating with betting probe, NCCIA says

Mohammad Rizwan has not responded to NCCIA requests for phone forensic examination in betting probe, report says.

Mohammad Rizwan has allegedly failed to cooperate with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency in its ongoing probe involving him and Imam-ul-Haq, according to a media report. The NCCIA has contacted Rizwan several times requesting he appear for forensic examination of his mobile phone.

Rizwan and Imam were summoned by the NCCIA for questioning after their phones were taken into custody by security personnel accompanying the Pakistan team. Both players appeared before the agency earlier this month.

The NCCIA source said if Rizwan does not respond soon, the agency will initiate the next legal course of action and issue him an official notice. The agency stated it is not doing anything outside the parameters of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code.
