Morkel urges young India players to seek advice from Kohli and Rohit

India bowling coach Morne Morkel said the team is actively encouraging younger players to approach Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for guidance. He said the presence of the two senior batters provides an opportunity for knowledge transfer within the dressing room.

Morkel added that conversations are being prompted both in team meetings and during net sessions. He said different players may feel more comfortable speaking to a particular senior individual and that the management wants to create those opportunities.

Kohli and Rohit have returned to the ODI setup for the three-match series against the West Indies that begins on Sunday in Thiruvananthapuram. Shubman Gill is leading the side in their absence from the T20I and Test teams.
