Mukesh Choudhary takes five wickets as Rest of India trail J&K by 17 runs

Mukesh Choudhary took five wickets for 78 runs as Rest of India restricted Jammu and Kashmir to 278 in the Irani Cup match on Friday. Rest of India ended day two at 24 for one in their second innings, trailing by 17 runs.

Choudhary struck twice in the first over with a sharp in-swinger and a bouncer that removed Shubham Khajuria and Qamran Iqbal. He later took Kanhaiya Wadhawan and Abid Mushtaq to finish with 5 for 78.

J&K were bowled out for 237 on the first day. Paras Dogra made 75, Abdul Samad scored 57, and Lone Nasir Muzaffar hit 64 off 58 balls to give J&K a 41-run lead.
