Mumbai Indians added Tara Norris through trade and Disha Kasat at auction while operating with the smallest purse of Rs 90 lakh.
Mumbai Indians entered the WPL 2027 auction with Rs 90 lakh after retaining 11 players and trading Tara Norris from UP Warriorz before the sale. The two-time champions have no overseas slots remaining following the trade. They used their remaining funds to sign Disha Kasat for Rs 10 lakh.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the defending champions, spent Rs 70 lakh on Jess Jonassen and Tejal Hasabnis. Delhi Capitals paid Rs 75 lakh for Kiran Navgire, while Gujarat Giants bought G Kamalini for Rs 40 lakh. Delhi finished as runners-up in WPL 2026 and now hold five vacancies after the auction.
