Naqvi says overhaul was necessary for Pakistan cricket
Naqvi breaks silence on major overhaul after Pakistan's England defeats.
PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi defended sending seven players and two coaches home after Pakistan lost the first two Tests in England. The board made the cuts mid-tour.
Naqvi told Geo News the changes were needed and the board had to take tough calls for the sake of Pakistan cricket. He said the problems run deeper than this series.
The third Test starts at Edgbaston on September 9.
