Noor Ahmad takes five for 13 as Afghanistan sweep Zimbabwe

Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe 3-0 in the three-match T20I series in the UAE. Noor Ahmad took five wickets for 13 runs in the third T20I in Sharjah and was named Player of the Match. Afghanistan won that match by seven wickets with 71 balls remaining.

Azmatullah Omarzai scored 116 off 50 balls with 12 sixes in the second T20I. Ijaz Ahmadzai scored 52 off 22 balls in the first match and 52 off 27 balls in the second. Afghanistan retained their tenth position in the ICC men's T20I rankings and gained two rating points.

Zimbabwe were bowled out for 79 in the third T20I. They lost two rating points and remain twelfth in the rankings.
