Nottinghamshire sign Mitchell Hay as Kyle Verreynne replacement

Nottinghamshire have signed New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Mitchell Hay for the final three County Championship games of the season. The 26-year-old replaces Kyle Verreynne, who has returned home.

Hay has played three Tests and seven ODIs for New Zealand. He will join Nottinghamshire immediately and is available for the remaining fixtures at Trent Bridge.

Nottinghamshire sit mid-table in Division One and need points from the final matches to secure their position. Hay's signing completes their overseas options for the season.
