Over 50,000 tickets sold for India's New Zealand tour in two weeks
New Zealand Cricket has sold more than 50,000 tickets in just over two weeks for India's tour that begins on 22 October. Demand forced the board to open a tier at Eden Park unused for seven years.
India will play five T20Is, five ODIs and two Tests, their first visit to New Zealand in six years. Mark Chapman shifted to a casual contract to feature in the white-ball leg before joining the BBL.
NZC expects further surges closer to the Test matches.
