Padikkal and Sudharsan unbeaten as India A reach 106 for 2
Padikkal and Sudharsan steady India A after Jaiswal and Rahul fall again in Lincoln.
Devdutt Padikkal and Sai Sudharsan remained unbeaten on 56 and 39 respectively as India A reached 106 for two at stumps on day two of the first unofficial Test against New Zealand A in Lincoln. The pair added 96 runs after Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul fell cheaply for the second time in the match.
Jaiswal was dismissed for five when a short ball from Simon Keene nipped back and flew off his glove to the keeper. Rahul followed for four, dragging an off-stump delivery from Fraser Sheat onto his stumps via a hit-wicket dismissal after his front-foot prod missed the ball.
New Zealand A had earlier extended their first-innings total to 317, with Anshul Kamboj and Auqib Nabi taking three wickets each for India A. The visitors trail by 98 runs with eight wickets remaining.
