Pakistan coach denies knowledge of PCB tour threat

Pakistan head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed said he and his players were unaware of a reported PCB threat to withdraw from the Lord's Test over a Sky Sports interview. The interview featured Imran Khan's sons discussing their father's situation. Sarfaraz stated the team learned of the controversy during lunch on the first day.

Pakistan players returned to the field after lunch and the Test continued without interruption. England ended the second day in a strong position. The PCB lodged a formal complaint with Sky Sports after the 18-minute interview conducted by former England captain Mike Atherton.

Pakistan-born Australia opener Usman Khawaja described the PCB's complaint as a joke.
