Pakistan coach denies player refused to meet King Charles
Pakistan coach Mike Hesson says Salman Ali Agha was informed in advance that he would not meet King Charles during the England tour.
Pakistan coach Mike Hesson has pushed back on reports that Salman Ali Agha refused to meet King Charles III. Hesson said Salman knew well before the tour that he wasn't on the Buckingham Palace list.
Salman was one of seven players the PCB sent home after the second Test against England. He had captained the side in the first Test while Babar Azam was injured.
Hesson called the reports unacceptable journalism and made clear the player was never part of the official delegation for the royal visit.
