Pakistan face Sri Lanka in tri-series final on Saturday

Pakistan will meet Sri Lanka in the ODI tri-series final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday. The hosts finished top of the group after beating England twice and Sri Lanka once, though they were bowled out for 110 in their final league match.

Sri Lanka enter the decider with strong batting form after chasing 430 against England in one group fixture, where Pavan Rathnayake made 130 and Kusal Mendis scored 89 against England on Thursday. Pakistan have finished runners-up in three previous home tri-series without winning the title.

Coach Mike Hesson said the squad remains optimistic despite top-order batting struggles. Pakistan have never won a multi-team ODI tournament on home soil.
