Pakistan fined for slow over-rate in tri-series final

Pakistan were fined after being ruled one over short in the ODI tri-series final against England. Haris Rauf signed with Adelaide Strikers for the BBL 16 season, while Mohammad Amir is considering entering the IPL 2027 auction as a British citizen.

Pakistan were penalised for a slow over-rate after winning the ODI tri-series final against England by one wicket at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on October 25. The team finished one over short of the required rate after time allowances. England made 241 all out with Ben Duckett scoring 105, and Pakistan reached 243 for nine in 47.1 overs behind Shadab Khan's unbeaten 113.

Haris Rauf signed with Adelaide Strikers for the entire BBL 16 season. The 32-year-old said he is excited to play alongside Stokes, Short and Chapman and wants to help the Strikers reach the finals and compete for a championship. Rauf took 20 wickets last summer, matching his career-best BBL haul, and shared the BKT Golden Arm award with Gurinder Sandhu.

Mohammad Amir is considering entering the IPL 2027 auction. The former Pakistan bowler has acquired British citizenship and has registered for the APL Draft as a UK player. He has played in the T20 Blast and The Hundred as a local player and will feature in the PSL next year as an overseas player.
