Pakistan hit with 11 WTC points deduction for slow over-rate at Edgbaston

Pakistan lose 11 WTC points and half their match fee after the third Test against England at Edgbaston.

Pakistan were docked 11 World Test Championship points and fined 50 percent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate during the third Test against England at Edgbaston. The team finished 11 overs short after time allowances.

Captain Babar Azam accepted the proposed sanction. The deduction leaves Pakistan ninth in the WTC standings with a points percentage of 4.63.

The penalty follows England's 3-0 series victory and adds to Pakistan's recent disciplinary record in Test cricket.
