Pakistan removes red-ball coach Sarfaraz Ahmed after Lord's defeat
Sarfaraz Ahmed lasted only months as red-ball coach before being replaced by Mike Hesson.
Pakistan has removed red-ball head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed after just a few months in the role following the team's 194-run defeat to England at Lord's. White-ball coach Mike Hesson has taken over the red-ball position.
Australian Ashley Noffke replaced bowling coach Umar Gul as part of the sweeping changes announced by the PCB. Seven players were also sent home from the England tour.
The changes came after England secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-Test series. Five uncapped players have been added to the squad for the final Test at The Oval.
