Shubman Gill dismissed for 9 in Sher-e-Punjab T20 League

Shubman Gill was dismissed for 9 off 7 balls while opening for Fazilka Falcons in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League. Bathinda Royals pacer Sumit Sharma clean bowled the India captain after he hit two fours.

The match formed part of the ongoing domestic T20 competition in Punjab. Gill's early dismissal came against a side that has featured several fringe IPL players this season.

The innings ended a brief stay at the crease during a tournament that has drawn several India internationals during the international break.
