Pakistan women set for ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Bangkok from November 12
Pakistan will compete in the ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy in Bangkok next month, with the squad to be picked after the National Women's T20 final on October 25.
The Pakistan women's cricket team will participate in the ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 12 to 26. The 10-team tournament features a group stage followed by a Super Six phase.
Pakistan have been placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, Thailand, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe. Group A includes Ireland, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, Scotland and the UAE. Five of the 10 participating teams are Associate Member countries.
The national squad will be selected after the final of the ongoing National Women's T20 Tournament in Faisalabad on October 25. The domestic event provides players an opportunity to stake their claims for the international assignment.
