Mumbai Indians beat Punjab Kings by six wickets in Dharamsala
Mumbai Indians chased 201 to defeat Punjab Kings by six wickets at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium. Tilak Varma hit an unbeaten 75 off 33 balls with six fours and six sixes to guide MI home in 19.5 overs. Shardul Thakur took four for 39 to hold PBKS to 200 for eight.
Jasprit Bumrah captained MI for the first time due to Hardik Pandya's back spasms and Suryakumar Yadav's personal reasons. Bumrah won the toss and chose to bowl first against PBKS. PBKS opener Prabhsimran Singh scored 57 off 32 balls with six fours and four sixes.
Azmatullah Omarzai made 38 off 17 balls for PBKS and later took two for 36. MI's Ryan Rickelton contributed 48 off 23 balls in the chase. PBKS suffered a fifth straight loss after Delhi Capitals chased 211 to beat them by three wickets at the same venue.
