PCB confirms PSL 12 dates from March 18 to May 2, 2027
PSL 12 will run from March 18 to May 2, 2027, following the success of the eight-team format and player auction in 2026.
The Pakistan Super League will return for its 12th edition from March 18 to May 2, 2027, with all eight franchises competing. The dates were confirmed at a PSL Governing Council meeting in London on September 1, 2026, attended by owners and representatives of every franchise. The 2026 season introduced an eight-team format, a player auction and a record final attendance of 32,461 at Gaddafi Stadium.
Peshawar Zalmi won the 2026 title, defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets in the final on May 3. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the previous edition had demonstrated the league's growing stature and promised an even bigger season in 2027. PSL CEO Salman Naseer said the league would aim to meet heightened expectations after last season's changes.
Further details on the schedule, venues, player auction and ticketing will be announced in due course. The tournament will feature direct signings, retentions, a trade window and the player auction before the season begins.
